The 'Three P' Miracle Diet Hi, you have just taken a step towards the body you have always wanted. The Miracle Diet is very simple, takes virtually no effort or will-power, and has deep and long lasting results. One girl I worked with lost four stones in one month simply by following the Miracle Diet and anothr girl lost two stones even thought she wandered on and off the Diet over the month, so you see, even a little bit helps. The Diet works EQUALLY well if you are a vegetarian or a meat eater - it doesn't matter - and certainly alternative ingredients can be found if you have a problem with any of the three main ingredients. This diet has been TOP SECRET for many years, and I could make a fortune writing a book about it, but why be greedy? Surely it is better to make this diet available for every-body? The Miracle Diet - The Basics Ok, lets get into it. First of all a few key principals: You need three basic elements in any diet: 1. Protein - A guick releasing boost of energy 2. Carbohydrate - A slow releasing store of energy 3. Vitamins and Minerals - Which process the above into energy. You will get these in virually all the meals you have ever eaten (outside of cerials), but the proportions will change from meal to meal. For example, steak, chips (fries), and veg. You'll gain Protein from the steak, Carbohydrate from the chips, and Vitamins and Minerals from the vegetables. Take a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, you'll gain Protein from the peanut-butter, Carbohydrate from the bread, and Vitamins and Minerals from the jelly (jam). Take potato and leek soup, you'll gain Protein from the leek, Carbohydrate from the potato, and Vitamins and Minerals from the leek and some of the other ingredients. So you see, as long as your meal contains the three essential nutritian ingredients (Protein, Carbohydrate, and Vitamins and Minerals) then you have what is known as a 'complete meal'. The problem comes when you: 1. Over eat 2. Consume too much fatty materials (which offset all the 'good stuff' in the essential materials) 3. Snack too much before bed / sleeping Over eating can be a psychological thing - which stimulates 'feel good' chemicals in the brain through the process of eating. The 'Feel good' factor can be found in foods, alcohol, drugs, smoking, driving too fast - it seems Humans will do anything to avoid bordom! In certain cultures (particulatly in the U.S.) where over eating is seen as a social challenge, and sometimes socially mis-informed groups will over-eat together - cramming in food for the sake of the illusion of social acceptance. Social stignas and peer pressure can work in the opposite direction too, making the person feel less attractive and socially excluded if they are not the 'acceptable' size and shape. It's enough to take some turn to extreme meatures simply to 'fit in' with the perceived 'norm' in their part of the world. These methods can often be very harmful to the body: and crash diets, not eating, being sick, heavily unbalanced diets (famously the Atkins Diet, which focusses on Protein alone), and even heavy bursts of exercise followed by eating heavily can be counter-productive in all sorts of ways. These measures often lead to the 'hero' and 'devil' principal, where the follower of the diet is a hero until they weaken and get bored and then they eat their way towards being ashamed, and then they try to make up for it the next day by starving themselves to become the perceived 'Hero' again. This too is counter-productive and sets up the very real possibility of sabotage and the failure of the diet. The Miracle Diet is not so hard, in fact it is one of the easiest and simplest diets to remember. It takes virtually no effort on your part and allows for 'bad' things sometimes so you don't feel under pressure to stick to the rules. In fact there are very few rules and guidelines. The Miracle Diet - Advanced So now you know the three things you need, and the three things to avoid, you're already half way to understanding how this very special diet works. So lets get deeper into it. As we have seen, the three basic essential elements don't really change from meal to meal, and even a single hamburger contains all three essential elements but in a small ratio compared to the fat contained in the product, so all a diet has to do is to get those basic essential elements in the most helpful and appropriate proportions to encourage weight loss. In fact the only thing which determins whether someone loses or gains weight is NOT the ingredients conatained within the meal, but the PROPORTIONS of those three essentials, Protein, Carbs and Vitamins. Now because every food contains these in different measures, it can be difficult to find a diet which keeps an all-round ratio without over indulging in one source or another. These diets are often complex and rely on charts and tables to mix the food correctly and to get the right balance. This is often expensive and time consuming, and sometimes a diet will introduce foods which you don't even like to get to your goal. The Miracle Diet - How It Works (the secret) Basically the 'THREE P' Miracle Diet gets around this by staying with the same combination of foods for breakfast and lunch and they you can eat whatever you like for dinner. The Three P's stand for: 1. Pasta - Any sort of pasta: white, brown, wholemeal, easy cook, quick cook, sprials, shells - it's up to you. The pasta contains Carbohydrate. 2. Pesto - Any sort: organic, non organic, green pesto, red pesto, home-made or shop-bought - it's up to you. The pesto contains Carbohydrate, Protein, Vitamins and Minerals. 3. Parmesan cheese - Any sort: Low sodium, normal sodium, freshly grated, shop-bought in a shaker - it's up to you. The parmesan cheese contains Protein and is one of the richest and purest sources of protein in the world (and certainly the best and highest among cheeses). Making: All you have to do is wash the pasta, place it in a sausepan and bring to the boil. Have it bubble just under the boil until the pasta is soft, then remove, strain off all the water and place the pasta in a bowl. Add two or three teaspoons of pesto, stir in. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Together these ingredients complement each other and work in synergy - a perfect balance. Adding too much of one ingredient over the others does NOT matter. Having too much or not enough does NOT matter, all that matters is that you sit down to consume all three indredients together - and with NOTHING ELSE - no bacon, pork, chicken, peas, carrots, fruit, NOTHING - just those three P's. The Rules: 1. Whip up a batch of PPP for breakfast, or have it pre-prepared in the fridge to eat at work. It doesn't matter if you get to work feeling hungry and eat there or you eat as soon as you wake up. The ingredients in the three P's work harmlessly. It doesn't matter if you eat one bowl or a large bowl for breakfast. The carbs will make sure you are not tired or hungry, and the effect of health and a clear mind this affords will last all day. Prepare it in advance so you have NO excuses. :) 2. Eat another bowl of PPP for lunch. Either make some or take it to work with you instead of sandwiches. Consume hot or cold, it doesn't matter, and eat no more than a large bowl full - one 'normal' bowl should be fine. If you are very hungry then just add more pasta to the mix. It doesn't matter how much you eat in principal as all the three P's will quickly break down inside the body and will leave you ready for the main evening meal. 3. NO snacking - no chocy biccys, no fizzy drinks, no potato chips or candy. 4. If you need to drink, drink pure filtered water or filtered tap water, fresh fruit juce (such as grape juice) or milk. 5. Eat whatever you like for dinner and aim to have it around 6pm if you get to bed around 11pm. This means the meal should have degested before you get to bed but just before you start to feel hungry again. A meal takes about four hours to digest and then you'll feel hungry again, so if you eat at 9pm and sleep at 11pm your meal will be partly undigested and this will be slow to exit the system and will hinder your diet. If you eat at 5pm and sleep at midnight, by 9pm your body will be craving another meal. This is what leads to snacking in the hours before bed as your body likes to be fed every four of five hours. 6. If you must eat before bed, you can always go back to the PPP as this will digest quickly, take the hunger away, AND will encourage weight loss. If you crave chocolate then eat a little, not a lot. Take a milky drink to take away the hunger until the morning. Try not to get to bed hungry but at the same time never go to bed full, or part full, or you will undo all you hard work. 7. If you wake up feeling hungry you can eat as much PPP as you like. If doesn't matter if you have more then enough at breakfast time as by lunch time you'll still be feeling hungry. If you are not feeling hungry at lunch then still eat a little bit of PPP to keep you going - even if you don't feel like it - as this will top-up your energy levels, clear your head, and will take away the hunger which would have hit you later on. If you are feeling lazy or sluggish it is because you need to eat and your body is running out of energy. 8. If you crave certain foods then save then up for after dinner when you can eat whatever you like, or better still save them for the evening when you may need a quick fix. However, once again try to avoid anything which contains fat four hours prior to bed as this will not be helpful to you. Eat anything you crave which is fatty at dinner time. Saying you can 'eat anything' at dinner is NOT an excuse to consume a three course banquet! 9. Alcohol contains carbon dioxide and sugars which are unhelpful but which will not interfer with your diet unless you drink every single night, or binge. Going out for the odd drink is fine, and sometimes it is helpful to booze-out once in a while, but please don't undo your hard work - remember: fuzzy drinks are much worse than alcohol, even in small amounts, so be careful what you drink. Tea and coffee - again it's ok in small amounts but more than one cup per hour or two hours is not helpful and will bloat your stomach with the endless cups of flavoured liquid you pump in there. Also, and obviously, avoid flavoured waters and 'energy drinks' like the absolute plague. 10. Stick to PPP for breakfast and lunch, and then a normal dinner (a sensible dinner is helpful, but fish and chips/ pie and mash is just as good sometimes) for 30 days and see the difference. If ever you pig out just go back to the PPP. Remember you can pig out on the PPP as much as you like - it doesn't matter. If you want to go the whole way and simply eat PPP all day for 30 days then that's fine, although not eating a different food for dinner can lead to cravings which you cannot simply ignore. 11. If you smoke, consider switching to Menthol cigarettes. Unlike 'normal' filtered cigarettes (which slow down the digestive system) Menthols do the opposite and actively help to speed up digestion, as well as containing half the tar and chemicals of 'normal' smokes. 12. Don't be too hard on yourself. Tension or stress can lead to all kinds of digestive problems and can also increase the cravings for quick release fatty foods, so relax and take care of yourself. Notes: The PPP meal is a complete meal. If you wish to add other ingredients then you may break the miracle synergy between these elements so do so at your own risk. Brocolli and spinach and harmless additives, as are most vegetables, but gain the more you add to the mix the less you'll be relying purely on the three P's and the less impactful the results. This diet will not leave you dizzy as it contains the essential elements in the best proportions. If you feel tired you may need to eat, but in general you should find you have MORE energy that previously because the food elements work to clear the mind and body, and provide a longer lasting energy supply which you can work with all day long.
